A few months back, Simon had a first look at one of QNAP’s SMB/ Corporate business family of network attached storage drives, the QNAP TS-259 Pro Turbo NAS and although it was only a two bay device, it shares a lot in common in terms of features and capabilities with its four, five, six and even eight bay counterparts. We’re going to follow up on that review with the TS-559 Pro.

QNAP, though a relatively new company has found themselves quickly one of the leaders in today’s small/ medium business as well as entry enterprise networking storage providers. Even only in the last year, QNAP has experienced phenomenal growth and not only as a company with offices in Taiwan, China and the United States, but with their range of products as well. By all counts, QNAP, which stands for Quality Network Appliance Provider has lived up to its name.
