Samsung ATIV Smart PC XE500T1C-A02CAMar 13th, 2013 | By Simon
I’ll admit that when I first saw the Microsoft Windows Surface I thought it was a brilliant idea and wanted to have my couple hours with a Windows 8 tablet and see what it is all about. I’ve been accustomed to Android devices (Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Note and Tab) and have had my fair share of hours using the iPad but what caught my eye with the Microsoft Surface was the detachable keyboard.
What peaked my interest with the Microsoft Surface commercial was how one could so easily dock a keyboard and covert a multi-touch tablet into a laptop without having to sync a bluetooth keyboard or plug in a docking station. I thought this was brilliant and great for users keen on sticking with a Windows environment or the older generation just starting to get into the tablet world.
Today’s review will feature the Samsung ATIV Smart PC XE500T1C-A02CA. The Samsung XE500T1C-A02CA was designed to be a tablet with a powerful dual core processor running Windows 8. It comes with the docking keyboard to give it the versatile capability. I’m going to cover the ins and outs of how this bad boy works and where I felt it excelled and fell short on.
