And then, now we’re at the end! We look at quite a number of monitors here and though monitors are always fun, beyond simply progression of display technology they’re also not particularly exciting, usually. I mean, they display stuff, right?

Well, when it comes to a display that falls in the range of $800 dollars one would hope the justification for the price tag truly is worthwhile, and part of that expectation is more than just remarking that things look better on a more expensive screen and things look bigger on a bigger screen. The other part of expectations of an $800 dollar display is something awesome. Immediately there are quite a number of things that make this unit fairly awesome and not to come across as superficial, for myself and I am certain, for many others as well the T27A950 looks pretty awesome. In terms of performance, the colors are beautiful and 3D performance is top notch. The display is also fast enough to keep up with action whether it is in games or movies.

However we don’t have a direct translation between measuring awesome and cost of. For instance the T27A950 isn’t twice as awesome as a $400 dollar monitor. Not that that was what we were expecting in the first place, but the T27A950 still does fall into the more expensive side of things. Still, it is a versatile display and by all means, a wonderful unit and it would be unfair to simply discount (hah!) the display on price and price alone. For those with a bit of extra cash that needs to be thrown at something, the T27A950 is a damn good choice.
