While HIS is certainly no stranger to Overclockers Online it has been nearly a year since there last visit. In that time HIS has continued with a strong partnership in helping to launch the latest graphics cards from AMD. HIS has long focused on improving the cooling technology on its graphics cards through their successful IceQ line of cards.

With the launch of AMDs 6000 series cards it was inevitable for them to get the IceQ treatment from HIS. The IceQ coolers have largely been unchanged for the past few models, but with the HD 6000 series HIS has updated their cooler into the IceQ X. Today I have the HIS 6850 IceQ X Turbo 1GB on hand to put through the paces. Combined with a factory overclocked AMD HD6850 graphics card the IceQ X cooler promises to deliver performance with improved cooling while also reducing noise.
