Three great features right off the bat: durable finish, free fall sensor, and spill resistance. As an owner of an early generation netbook, one with a glossy finish over the years it has accumulated a few unsightly scars. By virtue of being incredibly portable though, usage beyond being sat on a desk is expected and I for one can appreciate a more resilient finish. Of course, spill proofing and the free fall sensor and spill proofing just make a whole lot of sense.

The technical features of the NB30 are fairly standard: Intel Atom processor, 1GB of memory- upgradable of course, integrated Intel graphics and a usual bundle of multimedia and wireless connectivity.
