Lite-On is a prominent manufacturer of optical drives, among other things. I remember having several Lite-On branded CD and DVD drives over the years.

In this review, we will be taking a look at one of their external DVD writers, the eHAU424. Although Blu-ray drives are just now starting to come to the market, DVDs are still king in terms of value. An external DVD writer is very convenient but I’m not sure how useful it would be considering most laptops come with DVD burners these days.
