Zaward Vapor 120
Mar 15th, 2010 | By ChrisHere we have the face of the box. This is my preferred type of packaging. Simple color scheme, product name clearly printed on the front, compatibility along the bottom, and manufacturer across the top. I would have to say it’s professional, and definitely not flashy, which typically detracts from the product.

Swiveling to face the right side, we see the main features, accompanied by pictures. On the bottom, we see the construction of the fan and its bearings.

Following the simple design, we find all of the Vapor 120′s specifications on the back.

Turning it around one more time, we are shown the schematics of how the Dimpled Fins work, a cooling performance comparison graph, and a noise level comparison graph.

Let’s pull out! Flipping up the flaps, I grab hold of the plastic encasement inside and pull it out. As we can see, the fan sits nestled above the heat sink, with all assembly and installation pieces sitting at the base. How well did the plastic cocoon protect? Well, I could see it doing a decent job at protection…but I think foam or Styrofoam could still do a better job.

Let’s take a quick look at the specifications and features before we get closer.
