Cooler Master Elite 431 Plus (RC-431P) Mid Tower Case
Jan 30th, 2012 | By JaredWith the Elite 431 Plus mid tower case Cooler Master wanted to change what a budget case was. Sporting USB 3.0, SATA X-Docking station and side window it certainly delivers on the feature front. An all black interior and a front blue LED fan gives it a sleek and stylish look that should please just about anyone. Toss in some tool free drive bays and you have yourself a budget case that certainly doesn’t feel ‘budget’.

Perhaps the one thing Elite 431 Plus doesn’t quite deliver on in its stock form is cooling. With just one 120mm intake fan included things can get hot but with additional mounts for up to four more fans there is certainly room to improve in that area. Cable management is also a bit cramped which is to be expected in most mid tower cases but it would have been nice to see a little room behind the motherboard tray for this purpose.
The Elite 431 Plus certainly raises the bar on budget cases with some great features. Clean styling and room for high end components should put the Elite 431 Plus on your shopping list if you are searching for a mid tower case.
