Cooler Master Elite 431 Plus (RC-431P) Mid Tower CaseJan 30th, 2012 | By Jared
The Elite 431 sports a clean look that should be handsome to just about everyone. Along the front there are three 5.25″ drive bays, two are open while the third is host to the SATA HDD dock called the X-dock. Along the top front is one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, headphone/mic jacks, power/reset switches and HD LED. The top sports two optional 120mm fan mounts.
The cover on the X-dock is easily removed and you can see the SATA connections inside. The front panel pulls off and you can see the Blue LED 120mm fan that occupies the bottom.
While the right side of the Elite 431 Plus has nothing to look at, the left side has a large window for you to show off your hardware.
The backside is pretty standard with a lower mounted PSU, 7 PCI expansion slots, a mount for a 120mm exhaust and two predrilled holes for watercooling.
Four rubber feet keep the case slightly elevated and should help eliminate any vibrations when mounted on a hard floor. There is another optional 120mm fan mount in the bottom and another opening below the power supply mount with a removable mesh filter.
