Cooler Master 690 II Advanced
Mar 8th, 2010 | By JaredThe interior of the 690 II Advanced is all black and you can see there are plenty of cutouts around the motherboard tray for cable management.

We see a new type of tool free mechanism for the 5.25″ bays that lock and unlock with a small lever that flips back and forth. The hard drive caddies are the same we have seen in past Cooler Master cases and the 690 II Advance includes a 2.5″ SSD/HD converter.

Here is the vented opening for the power supply and to the right is another opening. The 690 II Advanced gives you two different places to mount a radiator, the first is in the top position. The second is in the bottom once the hard drive bay brackets are removed.

The PCI slot covers are solid and each uses a thumbscrew.

The backside of the motherboard tray plays host to numerous notches to use zip ties for cable management.

Front panel connectors include one USB, front audio, eSATA, power/HD LEDs and power/reset switches.

Now it’s time to see what it’s like installing hardware in the 690 II Advanced.
