HIS HD 5570 Fan 1GB
Apr 12th, 2010 | By JaredGames are a big factor in many consumers’ purchasing decisions. And while the HD 5570 is geared more towards home theater PCs, that doesn’t mean you don’t occasionally want to play games.
First up we will hit run through Company of Heroes. I used the built in benchmark and set everything to high and let it go.
Company of Heroes is certainly playable on the HD 5570 even at 1680×1050. Like we saw with the synthetic benchmarks the numbers are more than doubled from the last generation HD 4550 card.
The final test will be with Crysis. Crysis obviously needs no introduction as a system killer when it comes to performance. All settings were set to high with no AA and the built in GPU benchmark was used.
While the numbers here really don’t translate into a playable game, they are quite respectable for an entry level card. I didn’t expect the HIS HD 5570 to be a gaming card going into the review and while the results confirm that it performed far better than I expected.
