After popping in the HD 5570, I decided to get down to some overclocking just to see what could be gained. With the latest series of cards, ATi has been locking the maximum values for the core and memory clocks. While I didn’t have a whole lot of hope going in, I was able to top out at the maximum values in ATI’s Overdrive at 700MHz core and 950MHz memory, a gain of 50MHz on both.

Temperatures basically stayed the same even when overclocked. Temperatures aren’t too bad when you consider this is a very small heatsink and fan outfitted on the HD 5570.
