Evercool has updated their 10025EA cooler to support both AMD and Intel socket 1156 processors with the HPKC-10025EA. With a low profile, adjustable mounting brackets and easy installation the HPKC-10025EA may have a hard to remember name but it makes a great option to replace that stock cooler.

HPKC-10025EA

Despite its good performance at stock settings it just can’t hang on when you begin to increase the heat when overclocking. And while its size would make it a perfect fit for a HTPC, the lack of a PWM fan or quieter fan kind of negates that benefit.

While it may not be good for overclocking, Evercool gives you an good choice for stock cooling with the HPKC-10025EA.

  • Advantages

  • Low profile
  • Adjustable mounting brackets
  • Good performance at stock
  • Disadvantages

  • Poor performance when overclocking
  • Non PWM/noisy fan

Overclockers Online would like to thank Evercool for supplying the HPKC-10025EA for review.
