Evercool HPKC-10025EA Cooler
Dec 7th, 2010 | By JaredThe first thought after removing the heatsink from its packaging is just how low profile it is, making it an instant candidate for small form factor and HTPC applications. Four copper heatpipes pull heat from the base and dissipate it via the tightly fit fins.

The fan uses and open design and is attached via two wire clips. Also note that this fan has a three pin head and is therefore not PWM controllable.

The two wire clips that hold the fan in place are easily removed and reveal the 100mm fan model EC10025L12EA-N, running at 1800 RPM.

The top side of the aluminum fins is notched to allow for a higher area of heat dissipation.

Flipping the cooler over you can see it utilizes four heatpipes that make direct contact with the CPU. You will notice a total of six different holes on each side of the brackets – this is for some adjustments when mounting that you will see more of later.
