If you read my earlier review on the HIS HD 5870 iCooler V Turbo, then the HD 5830 iCooler V Turbo almost brings up déjà vu as it uses the same heatsink and Modern Warfare 2 graphic. The only hint that this is a different card is of course the model printed on it.

The HD 5830 iCooler V Turbo has dual DVI, HDMI and Display Port connections and requires two 6-pin PCI-e power connections. The iCooler is a dual slot cooling solution and partially exhausts hot air out of the back of the card.

Once the heatsink is removed this is familiar territory from the earlier review of the HD 5870 model. There are small thermal pads that make contact with the memory to transfer heat to the iCooler and unfortunately just like HD 5870 iCooler V Turbo I wasn’t able to make out any identifying information about the memory once they were cleaned off.
