The Burton arrived in a 25x25x13″ corrugated cardboard box, covered in images and text. On the face of the packaging, “BURTON: extreme|division” stands simply in the center. Flipping the box around, we have the inclusion of several images of the Burton, presented in three different colours: red, blue, and black. Today, we’ll be looking at the black edition of the Burton.

Packaging Packaging

On the left side of the packaging, Sentey has printed out the specifications in both English and Spanish. On the right side, we get a cross-section of the Burton, showing its clean, well-coloured interior. There are also a few pictures on the lower half, detailing a few attractive features of the Burton – more on both of these on the next page.

Packaging Packaging

Pulling out the Burton was a simple task, but we aren’t done unpacking it yet. It is wrapped in a cloth-like material, and is capped at both ends with molded foam. I’m a big fan of foam as opposed to Styrofoam, as Styrofoam tends to crumble and crush during shipping, risking the life of the product. Aside from this, the Burton arrived in perfect condition and the Styrofoam stood the test of its journey.

Let’s take a quick look at the specifications and features before we get closer.
