Antec Two Hundred
Jun 29th, 2010 | By ChrisAntec has produced another fine product as seen here at Overclockers Online, and this time it is targeted at budget gamers. Their slogan “Big Guns, Small Funds” goes a long way here, as the chassis can be purchased from Canadian Retails for roughly $50, and performance value is hard to beat at that price point. Although the chassis doesn’t come with many fans, the included 140mm fan is a benefit, and if you have any extra 120mm fans, there are many installation options to up the performance.
But when you’re looking for an inexpensive case, Antec has the right product for you, and it even comes with the added accessory of a SATA Hot-Swap bay, something you wouldn’t typically see except on expensive, high performance chassis’. If you’re looking to spend no more than $50, want decent performance, and want to upgrade said performance in the future, this is the chassis for you.
- Advantages
- Mid-grade performance
- Fan expansion options
- Front 3.5″ Hot-swap bay
- Disadvantages
- No intake for power supply
- No intake fans included
A special thanks to Antec for making this review possible.
