Zalman MS1000-HS2 Mid-Tower ATX Case
May 24th, 2010 | By NivedhOpening up the package, we are initially greeted by an accessory box.

The accessory box contains mounting hardware and stands for the case.

Below that, we can see the case cradled by Styrofoam blocks and protected by a cover.

Freeing it from its protective packaging, we get our first look at the case.

The case is very elegant to look at and not at all gaudy. There are four external 5.25″ drive bays.

Below those are six external 3.5″ hot-swappable drive bays that are hidden behind pop-out panels.

At the top, we have a large ventilation mesh with a fan underneath it. The power button and I/O panel featuring microphone, headphone, USB, SATA ports and reset button can also be found on top.

The sides of the case are relatively featureless save for the “Zalman Cool Innovations” logo.

At the back we have another large fan, seven expansion slots, room for a bottom-mounted power supply, and water cooling grommets.

The bottom of the case has a removable filter and ventilation holes. The stands also attach here using screws.

That covers the exterior. Let’s move on to interior.
