Corsair Force Series F180 180GB SSD
Jan 27th, 2011 | By SimonPicking a good hard drive is not an easy task. Everyone likes to focus on the fact that the CPU, Motherboard and RAM and make up the heart of the computer. I would argue that your hard drive is just as important if not more important. If you’re motherboard dies you can buy a new one and be on your way again for less than a hundred bucks. If you’re hard drive dies you may forever lose those precious memories or contracts.
The Corsair Force Series brings to the table a superior hard drive. It runs fast and has a reasonable 3 year warranty. The meantime before failure is reported to be one million hours, longer than you’ll probably ever want given how quickly hard drives advance.
In an era where information is king, don’t take the risk of a mechanical drive. Go solid state. The Corsair F180 is priced at about $400 and one I’d be happy to recommend to my friends who have the dough!
