XtremeGear HP-1216B
Mar 4th, 2010 | By StevenPackaged up in a four color process printed corrugated fiberboard box, the HP-1216B container sports a carrying handle and notable features about the cooler in several different languages. Also, there is a diamond shape opening strategically placed on the front that proudly displays the fin design and heat pipes of the enclosed cooler.

Detailed specifications are listed on the left side while bulleted points in various languages dominate the right side.

Around back, we see simplified installation procedures and a notice that heat pipe direct touch coolers require more thermal compound. We will touch on this point a little later on in the review.

Included hardware consists of mounting brackets for AMD and Intel processors, eight rubber fan mounts, fan speed controller and a small tube of thermal compound.
