Thermaltake V3 Black Edition
Mar 21st, 2010 | By StevenFollowing standard packaging protocol, the V3 arrived in a fully print covered corrugated fiberboard box that details the case inside. More and more packaging takes on dual roles, to protect the contents during shipping as well as advertise for the product inside the case. People are much more likely to buy something if the packaging draws our attention.
Spinning the box ninety degrees, we see a UPS sticker slapped over the specifications of the chassis inside. Don’t worry; I’ll detail them out on the next page.
Turning ninety degrees once again, the back of the box is designed to highlight the interior and selling points of the chassis.
One final turn ninety degrees brings the final side into focus. All we have here is a dot telling us which version of the V3 is inside.
Now for the fun part, rip open the top and slide out the contents. Fortunately, the V3 slid out quite easily and there was no damage to the packing material or the chassis.
