Thermaltake BlacX 5G ST0019U HDD Docking Station
Jan 15th, 2011 | By JaredThe all black box is all business and lists out features and benefits of the BlacX 5G.
Once you pop open the lid, the BlacX is nestled between Styrofoam with a box of accessories tucked beside.
Accessories include a USB 3.0 cable, power cable, hard drive sleeves/protectors, user guide and warranty information.
From an appearance standpoint the BlacX line has retained the same general shape and design with some minor tweaks such as the power and eject buttons being moved.
The BlacX has a flap that partially covers the hard drive slot on the top. The notched portion is big enough for a 2.5″ drive to offer support while it is inserted.
The eject button has been moved to the side from previous models that had it on the front. On the back of the unit are the power and USB 3.0 connections. eSATA is not supported on the BlacX 5G.
On the bottom are four rubber feet as well as product information.
