Good things tend to come in small packages. When you want the smallest possible case for a HTPC machine you’re left with the smallest heatsinks on the market. More often than not, these coolers are undersized for the CPU you want to use. Thankfully, Silverstone Technology has engineered the NT07-1156.

The NT07-1156 stands less than 1.5″ but has the power to cool the heavyweights in the industry. My Intel i5 661 ran at full load for hours on end without any signs of overheating and with the flip of a switch the Intel Extreme Series can be supported. With the simple push-pin installation, everyone will have no problems installing this cooler.
