It isn’t too big of a surprise, but the Strider Gold 750W has some impressive efficiency numbers to show. The 12V rail also held exceptionally well.

Keeping the same load and switching on the peltiers to heat up the unit, appears to be only a futile attempt to knock off a few more percentage points on efficiency. At full load and inside the hotbox, the Strider Gold 750W managed an impressive 88.1% efficiency. On the side of output however, the 5V rail was call for a bit of concern as it fell 4.85V. While still within regulation, this a bit lower than we would like to see.
