SilverStone Strider Gold 750W Power Supply
Nov 11th, 2011 | By AnthonyPacked away in a SilverStone- sized box and decorated in gold, these are mere distractions from getting at the unit!
Inside, we’ve got our typical bundle of goods. Power supply? Check! Manual, screws, cables? Check. Bonus: we’ve also got velcro wire wraps and zip ties!
Moving onto the unit, the Strider Gold 750W looks good. It is finished in pebbled black. The cables are finished in black sleeving, black heatshrinks and the molex connectors are for the most part black as well, expect for the blue which is used to color code the modular connections.
The unit is cooled by a single 135mm Young Lin fan which pushes air into the unit through the top which is then dissipated through the rear perforated panel.
Inside, the layout and component choices should be at least mildly familiar. The unit is definitely an Enhance unit.
Inisde we’ve got a large assortment of capacitors. On the primary side we have two Matsushita branded ones and on the secondary side, Nippon Chemi-Con and various Sanyo and Rubycon capacitors on the modular connector board.
