Now that we have the PS05 unwrapped we get our first look. The PS05 has four 5.25″ and two 3.5″ external bays. The power and reset buttons are located along the top at the front edge. Just behind these are the USB and microphone/headphone jacks. A large mesh are dominates the backside of the top where we will see up to two 120mm fans can be placed for exhausting warm air out of the case.

The front bezel pops off and reveals the drive bays and a lower front fan mount. The power and hard drive LEDs are located just above the fan location and are visible through a clear plastic piece in the front bezel.

The side panels are both solid with no optional fan mounts or windows.

On the backside we have a bottom PSU mount, 7 PCI slots and two water cooling punch outs. If you look you will see that the top and bottom PCI slot covers are slotted to aide in cooling any hot expansion cards. Running along the ends of the expansion slots there is a long plastic piece that acts as the tool free mechanism that we will see a little closer later on. Two thumbscrews hold each side panel on.
