Samsung UN55C6500 55 inch Series 6 LED TV

A TV is an investment that lasts you a long time. While the warranty is generally only 1 year you will easy get many years of good use. The Samsung 55C6500 is one of those investments. The 55C6500 is a big TV that’ll make all your friends jealous. It however is not big enough that it becomes difficult to carry or assemble. I was still able to manage the job myself.

Samsung 55C6500

The 55C6500 brings to the table a variety of features. Media Play allows you to watch videos, play songs or view pictures through any of the TV’s input options. I personally love the network connection and access to my home network. It means every single video, song or vacation picture I have can be shared with visiting guests. The Internet @ TV and Yahoo! widget was fun to play with but didn’t add much value. The biggest deal with the 55C6500 has to be the panel itself. Using an LED backlight it gives you stunning picture quality. The colors are vivid and almost perfectly calibrated when benchmarked in the correct lighting. If you find you like darker pictures or brighter scenes all the options are available to you. The only downside the MSRP of $2500 might just be out of reach for some when of the competition is priced under $2000.

  • Advantage

  • Excellent picture quality
  • Easy to assemble
  • Very low power consumption
  • Disadvantage

  • Pricey compared to other competition
I’d like to thanks Samsung for making this review possible.
