ATTO Disk Benchmark are more conventional benchmarking applications. They do the exact same as IOZone and IOMeter but in a far more simplified manner. It take only a minute or two to completed versus the several hours it takes to run a few sequences of IOZone tests.
The file transferred was 2GB in size. With the read results we peak at 32K transfer size. After that point the results begin to drop off, very rapidly with JBOD and less with RAID 5 and 6. The write results were very consistent and in line with the other benchmarks.
