Noctua NH-U9B SE2
Oct 4th, 2010 | By JaredEnough looking it is time to install the NH-U9B SE2. First up I installed the two mounting brackets and four anti vibration strips.
I won’t bore you with the installation of the hardware as the SecuFirm2 is arguably the easiest system out there to use. As the NH-U9B is designed with HTPC and small form factor cases its footprint is much smaller than previous Noctua coolers I have reviewed.
So honestly I have one complaint about the installation of the NH-U9B and that is the fan clips. While they are not necessarily difficult to use but if you have limited space to put your fingers it could be difficult. I know there has to be a better solution for mounting the fans than wire clips.
