Noctua NH-C12P SE14
Jul 27th, 2010 | By JaredThe first step is installing the mounting bars on the motherboard. Since thumbscrews are used here this step is easily accomplished inside the case if you have a cutout in the motherboard tray.

Even though the NH-C12P SE14 sticks out over the northbridge heatsinks, the bend in the heatpipes allows for easy clearance. This is important especially since the instructions say to not install with the bends of the heatpipes facing towards the top in tower style cases.

After installing the heatsink you stick on the four rubber anti-vibration pads in the four corners. Finally using the grooves along the sides with the clips you have the fan installed. From start to finish this has to be one of the easiest heatsinks to install that I have used.

With the NH-C12P SE14 installed it’s time to get down and dirty with some heat.
