First off is a look at the NF-P14 fan. As I found in the earlier review of the NH-D14, this 140mm fan is quiet even under full speed operation.

The NH-C12P SE14 is what Noctua calls a C-type design, which places the fan facing down. Here you can see the 6 heatpipes as they come up from the base and bend into the body of fins.

From the side you can better see the bend in the heatpipes which should allow for better clearance of components near the CPU socket. There are two slots running down either side that are used for the clips to mount the fan.

Coming off the base are more fins that should further aid in heat removal. On both sides of the base are the spring loaded screws for mounting the heatsink using the SecuFirm2 mounting system.

There are two openings on either side of the heatsink that allow easy access to the mounting screws.

We have had a tour, now it’s time to install the NH-C12P SE14 and see how it performs.
