Found in one of the 5.25″ bays, this little plastic box of goodies has all the needed supplies. In here we find the floppy drive, hard drive, and optical drive mounting rails, a small bag of necessary installation screws, a front panel speaker, and CPU power cable extension – which is only 4-pin however, and not the modern 8-pin. Aside from that, there is also the extra dust filter, and the H-80 user manual.

Interior

This here is the left side panel. As we can see, this is where the giant 250mm LED side panel resides. What are the benefits of such a large fan? Huge airflow and extreme quietness are two examples. Due to the diameter of the fan, it does not have to spin as fast. Plus, if you throw some LEDs in there, such as red ones, it looks very attractive.

Interior

Looking straight on the left and right sides, we get a good overall look at the interior of the H-80. I like what I see here; lots of cable management options and a rear motherboard punch-out for easy CPU heat sink mounting.

To start off the close look, we’ll focus first on the back. Here we can see the interior view of the fan, the rubber grommets, and expansion slots.

Interior

Shifting our focus down, we see the mounting location of the power supply unit, which would rest on four rubber feet and has its own dust filter. Right beside that, we see the secondary location for installing another 120mm fan. Just a little farther to the right is the removable hard drive caddy, which supports five 3.5″ drives.

Interior

Moving up the front on the inside, we again see the removable hard drive caddy, with the 120mm red LED intake fan just in front of it. Above that, there are two more 3.5″ drive bays for floppy drives and the like, and then two more 5.25″ drive bays. Only two? Yes, sadly only two. The third spot is occupied by the LCD and input panel. Along the side, there is a small sticker with a quick graphical instruction on installing each type of drive – handy if you don’t have the instruction manual nearby and are unsure on how to install any of your drives.

The final angle on the inside, the only thing worth noting is the 120mm fan here. It’s set its own “compartment” as to not interfere with the placement of the motherboard.

Interior

Finally, we have the front panel I/O connections. Here, we have the one audio and two USB headers, front panel connections, a four pin power Molex, and temperature sensor probe. The latter 2 are used by the front LCD display.

Interior

The H-80 appears to be just as good inside as it is outside; but how will the installation fair?
