The CT2KIT25664BA1339 is packaged in a generic clamshell package where you can either get one, two or three DIMMs. The details specific to the kit of memory are printed on a label and adhered to the package; this can be cross referenced with the label on the memory module itself. On the back of the package we get a list of generic features provided by Crucial: trusted brand, quality and reliability, free customer support, easy installation and limited lifetime warranty.
Once the clamshell package has been cut open and the DIMMs pulled from their respective slots, we can see that the module is single sided.
This doesn’t affect performance in any way. We would have double sided DIMMS if the individual ICs were 128MB instead of 256MB.
Each module has a label in which the warranty is void if you remove it. The label only reiterates the module, capacity and size.
Nothing else is included with the kit of memory so without further ado we’ll proceed with the specifications and features and get with installation and overclocking.
