Axle HD 5450 LP 512MB
Jun 26th, 2010 | By JaredAxle’s HD 5450 LP 512MB didn’t break any records or shine in any benchmarks, but this card will still probably be the bread and butter of the stable of ATI cards. The vast majority of people consider gaming to be casual games such as Plants vs Zombies or Peggle which even this card can handle with ease. Passive cooling and all of the benefits of the HD 5000 series make this a great card for a home theater PC as well.

The card is not very strong when dealing with more involved games but if that is your interest you most likely wouldn’t be looking at this card anyhow. One thing that is a simple addition but would make the card a bit more attractive is the inclusion of a low profile bracket. Perhaps the biggest hurdle this card will face is availability since Axle video cards are not easy to find in North America.
With these things being said the Axle HD 5450 LP 512MB is an ideal card for a home theater PC or someone who browses the web with some casual gaming.
