Axle HD 5450 LP 512MB

While the product page shows an actively cooled model, the one I received is passively cooled with a large gunmetal colored heatsink. The HD 5450 comes with VGA, HDMI and DVI connections. The VGA connector can be removed so the card should be able to fit in low profile cases unfortunately a low profile bracket isn’t included.
The fins on the heatsink have a decent spacing allowing for a greater movement of air without active cooling.
On the bottom of the card you can see the four spring loaded screws that hold the heatsink on as well as two memory modules.
The heatsink is held on with four screws and after removing it found a large amount of thermal grease. I would say there was at least four times the amount needed.
Cleaning the core off was a chore and still there was some left in the area around the core, it is a good thing this substance is non conductive. Taking a closer look at the memory modules you can see they are manufactured by Qimonda with a part number 1DSH1G-04A1F1C-16G F6514288. Each module is 128MB giving a grand total of 512MB.
