Deepcool has hit the intended mark again. The Ice Matrix Pro triumphs above its contenders with four heat pipes, 47 aluminum fins, and a single 120mm fan. The well-constructed base also contributes to the heat sinks exceptional performance. And who wouldn’t give an aesthetically pleasing CPU heat sink a second look?

Deepcool also hits the mark financially – although pricing is unknown at the time of this review, it is estimated to be roughly $40 CAD. Considering everything that the Ice Matrix 400 could pull off, including quality of build, socket compatibility and ease of installation, and ultimately performance, it is easily recommendable for any price-conscious individual looking for a quiet, yet effective, CPU cooler. If this is you, I would recommend giving it a second look.

  • Advantages

  • Full CPU socket compatibility
  • Exceptional cooling performance
  • Disadvantages

  • Only one included fan

A special thanks to Deepcool for making this review possible.
