From the onset when I saw ‘Designed for Overclocking’ on the box it was clear the Frio was meant to perform, and with that statement on the box it better. On this front the Frio delivered as it matched the performance of other top air coolers. Combined with compatibility for all of the newest CPU sockets, two fans and built in fan speed controllers the Frio is certainly an attractive option to keep your CPU cool

The only things that are downsides to me both concern the fans. First is the lack of including 3-pin to 4-pin adapters particularly when you are using both fans. The second is the noise generated when the fans are set to high, it is noticeable. The flipside to that is the fans have built in speed controllers so you can adjust it to find the right fit for you.

Thermaltake has a great performing cooler with the Frio that performs up with the top of the heap that certainly deserves a look when considering a high performing cooling solution.
