Finally, our absolute last measure of performance: ATTO and as promised it will be quick, easy and for those who have skipped to this section from the methodology page, welcome! ATTO Disk Benchmark are more conventional benchmarking applications. They do the exact same as IOZone and IOMeter but in a far more simplified manner. It take only a minute or two to completed versus the several hours it takes to run a few sequences of IOZone tests.

ATTO Disk Benchmark measures quite similarly to our Iometer sequential throughput tests. Read throughput the larger file sizes averages at around 90 MB/s and for the entire range, just under 70MB/s.

For RAID 5, write throughput averages just under 100 MB/s for larger file sizes and throughout the entire range, 75 MB/s.
