Arctic C1 Portable Universal Charger

When light impinges on the solar panel, the C1 begins charging up its battery. Under normal household lighting, it does not charge up unless the lights are very bright. With sunlight, even when it’s cloudy, the C1 charges up as noted by the 3 LEDs. In any case, I noticed that it takes several hours to charge up fully, even under broad sunlight. Charging directly using the USB input, as shown below, is much quicker.

For testing, I used the C1, after fully charging it, to charge my HTC Evo 4G’s battery. It was only able to bring the charge up from 0% to about 50% before becoming fully drained. Other devices such as my iPod Touch were also tested and the C1 did a good job at charging them.

The C1 is very simple to use. It is also very portable and lightweight. Most importantly, it works well.

  1. What, pray tell, does this thing have to do with overclocking?
I joined this site for overclocking. Not something like this paid-for review that has not one thing to do with overclocking a computer.
You really need to get your priorities straight.
I suggest that you make yourself a little sign that says “DO NOT TOUCH – unless used for overclocking news and reviews of products that are directly used for the subject ‘Overclocking’.” Place this little sign on your keyboard and follow the instructions.
