Crucial was looking to expand their Ballistix line to appeal beyond just the enthusiast crowd and with the Sport series I think they can claim success. The Ballistix Sport kit I had, the BL2KIT51264BA160A, offered installation that required little to no tweaking to get optimum performance while still giving you some room for tweaking and overclocking.

The Ballistix Sport series might not offer the extreme heatspreaders or speeds that we have grown accustomed to with the Ballistix line but that is just fine. Ease of installation and a broader appeal are the name of the game here and Crucial has a winner.
