While the GS800W is marketed as a price- performance solution- a budget power supply, it certainly doesn’t perform as such. The GS800W showed excellent line regulation on each rail, even in our fully loaded hot test.
Efficiency throughout the four tests stayed well within 80Plus certifications. We started at an impressive 85% efficiency at half load in an open air test and finished with a strong 81% when threw on the cover and turned on the heat.
