All benchmarks and tests were executed five times and an average was taken to derive the most accurate results. The tests will be conducted at stock frequency (935 due to multipliers), highest stable frequency at CAS 9 and stock frequency with the tightest possible stable timing.

Now that we have that out of the way, let’s take a look at the first set of benchmark results. Everest consistently delivers good information about memory performance.


Results here fall in line with what we expect to see, slightly better results from raising the clock speed rather than lowering the timings.
Next up, FutureMark takes the stage for testing with 3DMark11 and PCMark Vantage.


3DMark 11 provided some results that just didn’t seem to flow with any other results. Here I actually received higher scores at stock speeds than either overclocked or lower timings. PCMark Vantage provided mixed results across all of the suites with each setting winning some while losing others.
Last up is HyperPi. This modified version of SuperPi allows us to run multiple threads at the same time. It still calculates the value of pi to a ridiculous decimal place. Keep in mind a lower time is better.

HyperPi returns back somewhat to what we expect with small gains through tighter timings and larger gains from overclocking in 32M though in the 1M test the lower timings still shows slower results than the stock timings.
Results are for the most part across the board when you start tweaking this Vengeance kit of memory, but overall you benefit from any little bit of extra you get out of a memory kit beyond the stock settings and speeds.
