Compatibility with both Intel and AMD processors are clearly labelled at the bottom and a large picture of the RAM itself finishes off the front. On the back are a few features of the RAM alongside two small windows showing the label on each module.
Once you open up the package each DIMM is seated inside its own plastic casing that easily opens without the need for any sharp objects (thank you Corsair!).
Each Vengeance module is adorned in the familiar heatspreaders however this kit comes in blue to match many of the Intel based motherboards. The heatspreaders are fairly tall so this is something to bear in mind if you have a large CPU cooler.
The heatspreaders sandwich the modules well and I did not see a way to remove them without potentially damaging the fins or modules themselves so I left them on. They appear to make a good contact throughout so dissipating any heat should not be any worry.
