A few weeks ago I wrapped up a review on the Samsung UN55D8000 and at that time it was one of the best Samsung TV's I have ever had. It had great 2D and 3D performance but came at a steep price. Today, we have the 55D7000 which is one model down. Let's see if I'm more impressed.

Samsung's new HDTV and monitor hybrid the T27A950 is quite a bit more than just a pretty face. Behind its super slim carved bezel is a 1920 x 1080, 3D equipped monitor with 3ms response time and 27" of widescreen goodness. That's right, this monitor has 3D playback capability. It'll take desktop gaming to a whole new level!

A TV is not just a TV. They would be the ones that can't tell the difference between a $750 and one that costs $3000. The Samsung UN55D8000 is in the upper echelon of prices so can it deliver elite class performance? How does a QWERTY keyboard remote sound? What about a functional web browser? Or a 3D Engine that delivers 3D performance?

2010 may be long gone but that doesn't mean Samsung's flagship TV will disappear from the lime light. At 55" in screen size with the thinnest bezel on the market it is hard to miss the UN55C9000. Walk into a room with the TV and it demands your attention, everything fades to the background. Sounds like the TV I want!

It certainly wasn't picture quality! For under $1300 we have a 50" screen, 3D playback, free internet apps and a whole lot more!
