This year marks the introduction of SDXC: Secure Digital eXtended Capacity. This doesn't make SDHC cards obsolete, as a matter of fact, they are really just entering their prime.

Both can be found in the Class 6 speed rating, but the Gold Series was designed with professional photography and high definition video applications in mind.
